If they are willing to be patient, then I would. We went through 4 different caregivers before we found the right one.  The caregivers are not a good match, need to be more professional in their dress and attire. They need to know more about dementia and have a willingness to be concerned about the individual. They need to communicate with him and hold a conversation. They need to do more than go through motions.

They have done what they said they would do. The aide is fine, but she is still a stranger.  We are still getting used to her.
